CHIMPANZEE AND GORILLA SAFARI 7 DAYS
TTC 007

Day 1
Arrival at the airport, transfer to a hotel in the city centre, check-in, dinner and relaxation .you will also receive some briefing about the tour.

Day 2
After break fast, depart Kampala via Mubende-Ishaka to Fort portal; make a stopover for lunch enroute.Proceed, relaxation, dinner and overnight at Rwenzori View Guest house or Ndali Lodge.

Day 3
We will leave early at 5:30am from the Lodge in order to start on the Chimp trekking activity. You will see the habituated chimps coming out of their nests between 5:30am to 6:30are, we can now follow them up their daily activities up to nesting time (going to sleep) between 6:30 to 7:30pm.Take photographs in the due course.Dinner and over night at Kanyanchu River camp.

Day 4
After breakfast, go for a walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary which is managed by local people. Expect to see Birds including the yellow spotted nicator, African Pitta, Crowned eagle and the Great Blue Turaco. Watch out for the Grey-checked Mangabey, Red-tailed monkey, I’Hoesti monkey, Baboons and Blue monkeys. You will see Banded mangoose and Otters. Packed lunch will be taken.

Afternoon drive off to Bwindi impenetrable National park, the” home of the largest population of world primates.” Dinner and overnight at Lake Kitandara tended camp or Gorilla forest camp or Buhoma community camp.

Day 5
Early morning, penetrate the forest to track the rare mountain Gorillas; after 3 to 6 hours of trekking, you will be thrilled to see the Gorillas, peaceful, shy and interacting with others.You can’t miss capturing photos of the habituated Gorillas in their nests or relaxing amidst shrubs; it marks a memorable experience of your travel to the pearl of Africa.
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest camp or Buhoma camp or Lake Kitandara tented camp.

Day 6
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala stopping enroute for lunch at Mbarara.Visit the Ankole cultural village; buy some crafts for souvenirs. Proceed to Kampala; arriving late in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at Sheraton hotel or Serena hotel or Emin pasha hotel.

Day 7
After break fast, depending on your flight, you can visit the Uganda museum to introduce your to historical and cultural attractions of Uganda.Transfer to the Airport for departure.
