 UGANDA CULTURAL SAFARI EXPERIENCE : 8DAYS, 7NIGHTS

Day-1
After an early breakfast, travel to Hoima District while looking at the beautiful green vegetation cover. Stop over at Mparu tombs; the royal burial grounds for the kings (Omukama) of Bunyoro kingdom. Proceed to Hoima town for a lunch break. After lunch you will visit the magnificent Karuzika palace of Bunyoro kingdom. Local guides will take you around the palace. Return to Kolping house to be entertained by the Entogoro dancing group (Banyoro cultural dance) as you wait for dinner and overnight. (F/B).

Day-2
 Leave for Fort portal with a brief stopover at Mwukano tea estate. Take photographs and continue on your journey arriving in fort portal town for a late lunch. There after Visit the Karambi tombs and Toro kingdom palace and get an opportunity to interact with the local guides. Dinner and overnight (F/B).

Day-3
After break fast, drive to Nyakasura historical cave locally known as Amabere ganyinamwiru and also visit Fort portal Boma grounds. Then depart from Fort portal for Kampala with a stopover at the Nakayima cultural tree and proceed for a late lunch in Mubende town. Continue to Kampala and arrive late in the afternoon dinner and overnight (F/B).

Day-4
Start with Wamala tombs the site under the Kabaka’s heritage trail. The site is built in Buganda’s cultural style with 52 rings which represent the 52 clans of Buganda kingdom. Continue to Kasubi tombs. Lunch break at your Hotel. After lunch proceed to the Uganda Museum, and the Kabaka’s lake - one of the few remaining man made lakes in Uganda. Dinner and overnight (F/B).

Day-5
After breakfast, visit Naggalabi coronation site where enthroning of Buganda kings has been taking place for centuries. A local guide is in place to provide you with the information concerning the site. There are opportunities of watching birds. Have lunch after which visit Katereke prison ditch. Return in the evening for your dinner and an overnight stay (F/B).

Day-6
Start with Ssezibwa falls, get an opportunity to see the child born falls and a short nature walk in Mabira forest. Travel back to Kampala, pass Namugongo martyr’s shrine; this is a place where many Ugandan Christian converts were burnt to death because of their faith in Jesus. Time permitting, pass Kiwatule recreation centre for out door recreational activities Dinner and overnight (F/B).

Day-7
After breakfast, start with Ziika forest for birding and also visit the Bemba cave. Proceed to Kigungu catholic religious site; the first Catholic Church in Uganda. Visit Entebbe Zamugula and muzinga square. Return to Kampala for your  Dinner and overnight (B/B).

Day-8
After breakfast, transfer to the Airport to catch your flight back home.
