Uganda as a tourist destination is not only based on natural attractions, but has been also endowed with various unique cultural attractions. The country is well known for its culture among the East African countries, the history of the country’s kingdoms has a great impact on the current tourism industry. Any body visiting Uganda should not miss a chance of visiting these cultural sites of Uganda.

Kasubi Tombs. It’s about 5kms from Kampala The Kasubi Tombs is a huge dome-like structure that houses the remains of four former Buganda kings: Mutesa 1, Mwanga 2, Daudi Chwa 2, and Edward Mutesa 2.Constructed in a traditional fashion with thatch poles and reeds, the structure houses a variety of artcrafts that belonged to the kings. The descendants of the kings ‘wives look after the site.
Day-1
After breakfast, start with Kasubi tombs, a royal burial ground for the kings (Kabakas) of Buganda kingdom. Visit the Kabaka’s lake and Naggalabi Coronation site. Relax for lunch break at your hotel. After lunch proceed to katereke prison ditch and Wamala tombs, if time permits. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-2
After early breakfast, travel to Entebbe, a stop over at Bemba cave in Ziika ecotourism forest site. Continue to Entebbe Zamugula site, Muzinga square site and Kigungu landing site. Lunch break in Entebbe town. After lunch break proceed to the Uganda Wild Life Education Centre, spend time visiting different endangered animal species and birds or sport fishing on Lake Victoria. Return late to kampala. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-3
After breakfast, start with the Uganda museum, Bahai temple- the only temple in Africa of the Bahai faith. Lunch break at your Hotel,then visit the Uganda Marty’s shrine Namugongo This is a place where many Christians were burnt to death because of their faith in Jesus, continue to Kiwatule recreation centre, participate either in swimming, or play football take a visit to the cultural village. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-4
After breakfast, go to Ndere troupe centre for the whole day to be entertained with different traditional dances from various cultures of Uganda .You too might be required to participate in the traditional dances while dressed in traditional. Best performers are given awards.
Day - 5
After taking break fast, drive to Jinja.En route visit the Ssezibwa falls and Mabira forest for a nature walk. Lunch break in Jinja town. After lunch visit the Kyabazinga’s palace of Busoga Kingdom and the old colonial buildings. Dinner and Overnight (F/B).
Day-6
Start with the source of river Nile, and participate in boat riding and sport fishing. Then proceed to Bujjagali falls to see the mighty water falls of the Nile. Return to the Hotel for lunch break. In the afternoon leave for Tororo. Dinner and overnight Tororo Rock Hotel (F/B).
Day-7
After breakfast, get ready to climb the Tororo Rock which is about 4865ft, the hike is very tiresome but worth it. Return late in the afternoon for lunch and relaxation at your hotel. Overnight Tororo Rock hotel (F/B).
Day-8
After break fast, Drive to Mbale and Visit the Sipi falls to take an excursion up to the bottom of the falls. Lunch break in Mbale town. In the evening visit the Bagishu local elders who will give you details about their culture especially on circumcision. Dinner and overnight at Wash and Wills Hotel (F/B).
Day-9
After breakfast in the morning, travel back to Kampala with lunch en route. Arrive late afternoon relax, as you wait for Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-10
After breakfast, start the journey to Hoima via Kiboga; arrive in Hoima town in time for lunch. After lunch break visit the Bujumbura cathedral and Karuzika Palace of Bunyoro Kingdom you will get to know the origin of the Bunyoro kingdom. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-11
Take cup of coffee early in the morning, and drive to Mparu tombs; this is a royal burial ground for the kings of Bunyoro kingdom. Return to the Hotel for lunch. In the afternoon you will be entertained by the Entogoro cultural dancers from the local people as you wait for dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-12
Leave for Fort portal, have a stop over at Mwukano tea estate. Have lunch in Fort portal town, after which Visit Nyakasura historical site, the hills and the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-13
After breakfast, visit the Toro Kingdom palace and Karambi tombs; the royal burial grounds for the kings of Toro Kingdom.. Proceed to Kasese town for lunch. After lunch break, visit the Kilembe and get a chance to interact with Bakonjo people who live on the slopes of mountain Rwenzori. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-14
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, have a morning game drive on entering the Park. Expect to see lions, Buffalos, Elephants. Continue to Lake Katwe salt mining and see how salt is mined locally. Lunch break at Mweya Safari Lodge. In the afternoon go for an evening launch cruise on Kazinga channel, the launch cruise gives you an opportunity to spot a variety of water bird species, Large Hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-15
Start with the neighboring communities around Katunguru gate and Rutoto primary school,then Continue to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking or Maramagambo forest for a nature walk; expect to see various species of birds like the Rwenzori Turaco, primates such as baboons, black and white Columbus monkeys, the bat cave, blue lake and African rock python. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-16
Take a game drive in the morning to the northern part of the park; and expect to see Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, Elephants, Hyenas, and many Antelopes. Connect to Bunyaruguru area where you may participate in the different cultural activities that are performed by the different women groups. Visit Kitagata hot spring and Nyamunuka Crater Lake. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-17
Start on the journey to Kabale (the Switzerland of Africa) via Kanungu district, visit the Kanungu inferno- Kibwetere religious site, and arrive in Kabale town in time for lunch. After lunch visit Kabale museum to get exposed to the Bakiga culture. Take a visit to Rugarama and Rushoroza old missionary cathedrals. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-18
After breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a lava dammed lake surrounded by many hills. The word Bunyonyi means a place of little birds, visit Edirisa organization, participate in swimming, boat rides and sight seeing. Lunch break Kabale town. In the afternoon leave for Mbarara, arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-19
Visit to the Omugabe palace of Ankole kingdom; Omugabe is title to the kings of Ankole kingdom, you will visit the Ankole ranches and a chance to see the long horned cows, take time to learn the Bahima culture who are cattle keepers. Dinner and overnight (F/B).
Day-20
After breakfast in the morning, travel back to Kampala, a stopover at Mpambire royal drum maker, buy your self souvenirs or local man made drums line for photographs. Continue and arrive in Kampala late in the afternoon.Dinner and overnight stay.
Day -21
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
