Bwindi Impenetrable forest is a home to almost half of worlds' population of mt Gorillas. It also provides refugee to 350 different species of birds, chimpanzee, monkeys and 310 species of butterflies. It’s famously known for its superb Gorilla tracking.

   On the other hand, Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game reserve in the world, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and brooding Crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. Almost 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus remarkable 606 bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters, to mention but a few.  All these are regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula and all this makes a superb safari territory.

Day-1
After breakfast, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable forest Park, with a brief stop at the equator where you will experience weight change as you cross from one hemisphere to the other. Lunch enroute in Mbarara town. Proceed to Bwindi through the rolling green hills of Kabale (the Switzerland of Africa). Arrive at Buhoma Park headquarter late in the afternoon. (Approximate driving time; 9 hours). Dinner and overnight F/B.

 

Day-2
After breakfast, enter the forest for gorilla tracking. The tracking might be long and energy sapping but the thrill of seeing the gorillas erases the pain and fatigue. As you track expect to see bird species and other species of primates. Return to camp late in the afternoon and relax. Dinner and overnight F/B.

Day-3
 After breakfast, go for a short nature walk in the spectacular rain forest and have a glimpse at the numerous animal trails. Depart from Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth national park via the Ishasha sector and take a game drive within the sector. Get an opportunity to see the tree climbing lions, the unique Uganda Kobs, and birds. Have your lunch en route and continue to Queen Elizabeth Park. Dinner and overnight (F/B).

Day-4
After Breakfast, take an early morning Game drive you will be able to see Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus a remarkable 606 bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters.
All these are regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula and all this makes a superb safari territory .Return to the lodge for lunch and later go for an evening game drive to see the Animals that you might have not seen in the morning. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day-5
 After breakfast, leave for Lake Mburo National Park where you will be able to see the beautiful gigantic Eland, the Impala and big herds of Zebras. The park is surrounded by seven lakes with swamps that hide secretive papyrus specialists like the sitatunga antelope, the red, black and yellow papyrus.
