DAY 1: Buganda Kingdon Tour

After breakfast, start with a visit to the Kasubi tombs; a royal burial ground for the kings (Kabakas) of Buganda kingdom. The Kasubi Tombs located 5kms from Kampala is a huge dome-like structure that houses the remains of four former Buganda kings: Mutesa 1, Mwanga 2, Daudi Chwa 2, and Edward Mutesa 2. It was constructed in a traditional fashion with thatch poles and reeds, housing a variety of artifacts that belonged to the kings. The descendants of the kings wives look after the site. Visit the Kabaka’s lake and Naggalabi Coronation site. Relax for lunch break at your hotel. After lunch proceed to Katereke prison ditch and Wamala tombs. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 2: Entebbe Cultural Tour

After early breakfast, travel to Entebbe, a stop over at Bemba cave in Ziika ecotourism forest site. Continue to Entebbe Zamugula site, Muzinga square site and Kigungu landing site. Lunch break in Entebbe town. After a brief lunch break proceed to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, spend time visiting the centre. Return late to Kampala. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 3: Religious Tour

After breakfast, start with the Uganda museum, Bahai temple which is the only temple in Africa of the Bahai faith. Lunch break at your hotel then visit the Uganda Marty’s shrine at Namugongo. This is a place where many Christians were burnt to death because of their faith, continue to Kiwatule recreation centre, participate either in swimming, or play football, visit the cultural village. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 4: Uganda Traditional Dance Bonanza

After breakfast, go to the Ndere troupe centre for the whole day to be entertained with different traditional dances from various cultures of Uganda. You may find yourself being encouraged to participate in the traditional dances. Best performers are given awards. Dinner and Overnight (FB).

DAY 5: Jinja and Busoga Kingdom Tour

After taking breakfast, drive to Jinja. En-route visit the Ssezibwa Falls and the Mabira Forest Reserve for a nature walk. Lunch break in Jinja town. After lunch visit the Kyabazinga’s palace of Busoga Kingdom and old colonial buildings in the town. Dinner and Overnight (FB).

DAY 6: River Nile Tour

Visit the source of River Nile, and the Speke monument. Then proceed to Bujagali Falls to see the mighty Nile. Return to the Hotel for lunch break. In the afternoon leave for Tororo in the east of the country. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 7: Tooro Rock Hike

After breakfast, climb the Tororo Rock which is about 4865ft, the hike is very tough but worth it. Return late in the afternoon for lunch and relaxation at your hotel. Overnight (FB).

DAY 8: Mount Elgon Tour

After breakfast, drive to Mbale and visit the Sipi Falls. Lunch break at Sipi. In the evening visit the Bagishu local elders who will give you details about their culture especially on circumcision. Dinner and overnight (FB).

Day 9: To Kampala

After breakfast in the morning, travel back to Kampala with lunch en route. Arrive late afternoon relax, as you wait for Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 10: Bunyoro Kingdom Tour

After breakfast, start the journey to Hoima via Kiboga; arrive in Hoima town in time for lunch. After lunch break visit the Bujumbura cathedral and Karuzika Palace of Bunyoro Kingdom you will get to know the origin of the Bunyoro kingdom. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 11: Bunyonyi Kingdom Tour

Take cup of coffee early in the morning, and drive to Mparu tombs; this is a royal burial ground for the kings of Bunyoro Kingdom. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon you will be entertained by the Entogoro cultural dancers from the local people as you wait for dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 12: Toro Kingdon Tour

Leave for Fort Portal, have a stop over at Mukwano tea estate. Late lunch in Fort Portal town, after which visit Nyakasura  historical site. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 13: Toro Culture, Bakonjo Tour

After breakfast, visit the Toro Kingdom palace and Karambi tombs; the royal burial grounds for the kings of the Toro Kingdom.. Proceed to Kasese town for lunch. After lunch break, visit Kilembe to interact with Bakonjo people who live on the slopes of the Rwenzori. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 14: Game Drive, Launch Cruise

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a morning game drive on entering the Park. Lions, buffalo and elephants may well be observed. Continue to Lake Katwe salt mine and see salt being mined locally. Lunch break at Mweya Safari Lodge. In the afternoon go for an evening launch trip on the Kazinga Channel  which gives you an opportunity to see a variety of water bird species, hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 15: Chimpanzee Tracking

We visit neighboring communities around the Katunguru gate and Rutoto primary school, then continue to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking or to the Maramagambo Forest for a nature walk. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 16: Game Drive, Cultural Visit

We take a game drive in the morning to the northern part of the park and expect to see a variety if wildlife. Visit the Bunyaruguru area where you may participate in different cultural activities that are performed by local women groups. Visit the Kitagata hot springs and Nyamunuka crater lake. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 17: Bakiga Cultural Tour

Start on the journey to Kabale (the Switzerland of Africa) via Kanungu district, visit the Kanungu Kibwetere religious site, and arrive in Kabale town in time for lunch. After lunch visit Kabale museum to get exposed to the Bakiga culture. Take a visit to Rugarama and Rushoroza old missionary cathedrals. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 18: Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a lava dammed lake surrounded by many hills. The word Bunyonyi means the ‘place of little birds’, visit the Edirisa community development organisation, and sight seeing opportunities around the lake. Lunch break Kabale town. In the afternoon leave for Mbarara, arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight(FB).

DAY 19: Ankole Kingdom Tour

Visit to the Omugabe Palace of Ankole Kingdom; Omugabe is title to the kings of Ankole Kingdom, you will visit the Ankole ranches and a chance to see the long horned cows, take time to learn the Bahima culture who are renowned cattle keepers. Dinner and overnight (FB).

DAY 20: Last Souvenir Shopping

After breakfast, travel back to Kampala, a stopover at Mpambire Royal Drum Makers, to buy souvenirs. Continue and arrive in Kampala late in the afternoon. Time permitting souvenir shopping before transfer to the airport for your flight home. (HB).
